To open this edition of Philly’s Phinest, with Chris Pierangeli and Kevin McClernand, we began by reflecting on the reported violations that occurred at Oregon under Chip Kelly and discussed whether it had any impact on our opinion of Chip Kelly as a head coach (Start-16:44). Next, we analyzed the quarterback situation after the first day of mini-camp for the Philadelphia Eagles and looked at the quarterbacks the team could draft (16:45-35:19). After the break, we discussed the action taken by Ben Revere to honor those in Boston, reflected on Charlie Manuel’s decision to pitch Jeremy Horst in the 8th inning in the team’s loss to the Cincinnati Reds, and looked back at the big win on Sunday by Roy Halladay (35:20-45:39). For the final portion of the show, we gave our thoughts on the decision of Doug Collins to resign, discussed who could replace Collins as head coach for the Philadelphia 76ers, and quickly gave a playoff prediction for the Philadelphia Flyers (45:40-Finish).
