To open this edition of Philly’s Phinest, with Chris Pierangeli and Kevin McClernand, we discussed the decisions of the Philadelphia Eagles to cut Cullen Jenkins and Mike Patterson (Start-9:40). Next, we welcomed NHL expert and former Penn State broadcaster Kirk Dyson to the show to give his thoughts on the addition of Simon Gagne to the Philadelphia Flyers, the leadership of Claude Giroux and the play of the team to this point in the season (9:41-26:56). We transitioned with a quick thought on players we would like to see in return to Philadelphia, gave a brief update on the NFL draft prospects for the Philadelphia Eagles, and found out if Kevin is smarter than a 5th grader (28:56-44:02). Finally, we checked in with the Big 5, specifically the Villanova Wildcats, and determined what they needed to do in the final weeks of the season to make the tournament (44:03-Finish).
