In this week’s Nittany Lion Sports Report, with Bob Long and Bryan McSorley, we discussed the basketball team’s loss on the road at Illinois, previewed Senior Night for Sasa Borovnjak and Nick Colella at the Bryce Jordan Center on Wednesday night against Michigan, and interviewed John Johnson, a transfer from Pittsburgh sitting out this season but expected to be a key contributor next season (Start-29:13). After the break, we discussed the Lady Lions’ Big Ten regular season championship that they clinched on Sunday (31:55-37:56), recapped the Men’s lacrosse team’s overtime loss against #3 Notre Dame and previewed the upcoming season (37:56-45:08), and wrapped up the inaugural NCAA Division 1 hockey season and the team’s 3-2 OT victory on the road against Michigan State (45:08-54:12). We closed the show by recapping the Indoor Track and Field team’s 3rd place finish at Big Ten Championships (54:12-57:15) and discussed the performance of Mike Mauti and Gerald Hodges at the NFL Combine (57:15-Finish).
