In this week’s Bob Long Sports Radio Show, with Bob Long and Chris Pierangeli, we previewed the Super Bowl between the 49ers and the Ravens, including the key matchups, most important players, and potential repercussions for different players with a win. Specifically, we targeted the teams’ defenses as well as the quarterbacks on each team (Start-28:45). After the break, we interviewed Mike Missanelli of 97.5 FM The Fanatic in Philadelphia, where we analyzed the Philadelphia Eagles as well as the big week in Big 5 basketball, including the court-storming by Villanova and La Salle (30:40-58:00). After our next break, we debated at length the concept of court-storming, taking calls and giving opinions upon when the court-storming is valid and appropriate (1:00:15-1:29:30). We then interviewed Rob Denault, a Villanova Track and Field athlete who just ran 4:00.04 in the Mile Run this weekend at Penn State National. Rob was also a BLS Track and Field Contributor during the London Olympics (1:29:30-1:50:04). We closed the show with an analysis of Tiger Woods’ dominating victory in the Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines and Novak Djokovic’s victory in the Australian Open (1:50:04-Finish).
