In this week’s Bob Long Sports Radio Show, live from the Bryce Jordan Center prior to the Penn State vs. Indiana basketball game, we had a big show with lots of interesting and important topics. We began by discussing the State of Pennsylvania vs. NCAA case, including an interview with Bill McCullough, a May 2012 Hofstra Law graduate who researches sports law extensively and has already written on the subject (Start-35:20). After the break, we broke down the Penn State vs. Indiana game and gave our predictions (37:25-47:13), analyzed the Bill O’Brien press conference, which was held to formally announce his return to Penn State, and continued on to discuss the other coaching hires and decisions recently (47:13-1:01:05). We then analyzed, previewed, and broke down the National Championship game between Notre Dame and Alabama (1:01:05-1:20:53), recapped the biggest bowls of college football bowl season (1:23:11-1:39:07), recapped Wild Card Weekend in the NFL and previewed the Divisional Round (1:39:07-1:52:40), and closed down the show with a brief discussion on the hockey lockout ending after 113 days (1:52:40-Finish).
