In this week’s Nittany Lion Sports Report, which airs live on Bob Long Sports every Tuesday evening from 9-10PM, we discussed many stories in college basketball and how they relate to Penn State basketball. We discussed bubble teams, Penn State’s previous week’s games including the loss at Wisconsin, and previewed the upcoming game against Northwestern on Saturday at home (Start-17:20). Next, we had an illuminating discussion on the state of women’s college basketball while addressing the Penn State Women earning a share of the Big Ten Championship, a great discussion (17:20-33:55). We then continued with the Penn State vs. Northwestern preview, including a discussion on Northwestern’s tournament chances and what the Wildcats ned to do to make the NCAA tournament (33:55-46:00). Finally, we discussed Penn State football, including the hiring of Charlie Fisher as the new quarterbacks coach and the expected performances of the seven Penn State football players at the NFL Combine this week (48:25-Finish).
