In this week’s Bob Long Sports Radio Show, we discussed the absolute atrocity that was the BCS rankings this week. There were indescribable errors made by the BCS, and we tackled every single one of them (Start-29:11). Then, we talked to Ryan Hogan of Nittany Lion’s Den. He was covering the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, IN, and we discussed the the championship, including the performance of Penn State runners (29:11-39:45). Next, we previewed LSU vs. Arkansas (39:45-49:55), discussed the Penn State Nittany Lions’ game against Ohio State, and previewed the game against Wisconsin (51:55-1:22:00). Then we addressed the rumors of Urban Meyer to Ohio State (1:22:00-1:28:27), Rich Rodriguez to Arizona (1:28:27-1:31:08), discussed early-season Penn State basketball (1:31:08-1:39:00), and recapped the Eagles vs. Giants game (1:39:00-1:49:10). We closed the show with a discussion on Justin Verlander winning the AL MVP and what it means for all pitchers, and a few quick hits on the MLS Final and Sidney Crosby returning to the ice Monday night (1:49:10-Finish).
