In this week’s Philly’s Phinest, Kevin McClernand took the lead in Chris’ absence, and Bob Long and Stephen Didamo also were on hand for the show. The crew discussed the struggles of the Philadelphia Eagles, especially on defense, and previewed the matchup with the 3-1 Buffalo Bills this week (Start-20:57). The Phillies game then ended and we took the immediate reaction from the fans, while discussing what this win means for the rest of the series and the rest of the playoffs (20:57-32:49). Then we hit the potential bullpen issues for the Phillies through the rest of the playoffs (32:49-36:10), questioned Tony La Russa’s decision to bat Jaime Garcia with two on base on the 6th (36:10-39:40), talked more generally on the Phillies, including talk about the bullpen and a look ahead to the next playoff rounds (39:40-51:45), and had a discussion on what to make of Cliff Lee as a playoff pitcher and wrapped up the show (51:45-Finish).
